Governor Pritzker, Mayor Johnson, aldermen, state legislators, and much of Chicago's Latino civic leadership joined the community along the route. Marching bands, ballet folklórico troupes, charros, schools, small businesses, and community organizations moved through 2.5 miles of the busiest Mexican commercial corridor in the Midwest.

This year's theme was United We Ride, Stronger Than Ever. Fifty-five years on, this parade remains what it has always been: a neighborhood declaring, in public and at full volume, exactly who it is.

To everyone who came out — thank you. To the families who claimed a spot on the sidewalk before 11 AM. To the businesses that opened their doors. To the groups who spent months rehearsing. To our sponsors, whose support makes a free, public celebration of this scale possible. And to the staff and volunteers of the Little Village Chamber of Commerce, who carried this from permit applications in the spring to a full street in September.
