¡Viva Mexico, Viva su Charrería!
United We Ride, Stronger Than Ever - Join Us in Celebration
The Little Village Chamber of Commerce invites you to the 2026 Annual 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade — 55th Edition — on September 13th, 2026, from 12 PM to 3 PM. It will once again be a joyous occasion made possible by your continued support.
Each year, the 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade proudly carries on its tradition, launching from the iconic Little Village Arch at 26th Street and Albany Avenue and making its way down 26th Street to Kostner Avenue.
As one of the largest parades in the Midwest, this vibrant celebration draws hundreds of thousands of participants, residents, and visitors along the bustling two-and-a-half-mile business corridor. This year calls for the same spirit that has always carried us: a complex, ambitious undertaking made possible only through the unwavering belief and support of our attendees, stakeholders, sponsors, and allies.
This year, we celebrate "United We Ride, Stronger Than Ever" — a tribute to the unbreakable bond that carries Little Village forward, no matter what the year brings. In a time when so many of our families have felt tested, we choose to answer with love, with unity, and with pride in who we are.
The parade will once again fill 26th Street with unique floats, lively mariachi bands, and captivating folkloric dance performances, bringing the culture and heart of Little Village to life for all to see.
This event unites residents, elected officials, community leaders, local businesses, entertainers, artisans, and artists in a powerful display of solidarity — a reminder that when we stand together, no obstacle can diminish who we are or what we've built.
Join us once more in 2026 as we honor our heritage, protect our community, and continue building a legacy of strength for the generations still to come — inspired by the enduring spirit of Mexican Independence.
¡Viva México!
