My name is J Jesus Marin, my first time in the United States was in 1977 at the age of 17. Since then, I worked in supermarkets as a butcher and occasionally returned to Mexico to make a life there. That never worked out for me, in 2003 I decided to come live with my family and make a life here, working as a butcher again for ten years. Until January 2013 I was presented with the opportunity of a lifetime, to have my own business, a restaurant. The previous owner was Raul Pedroza, with his restaurant El Pollo Ranchero, he was looking to sell it since he had achieved what he was looking for, and it was the opportunity for me to start.
