Mexico’s leading orchestra, the Sinfónica de Minería, makes its Symphony Center debut led by Carlos Miguel Prieto, a conductor praised for his “extraordinary ferocity and drive” (The Guardian). Revueltas’ vibrant portrait of Mexico’s pre-Columbian heritage shares a program with concertos by Haydn and Paquito D’Rivera, performed by the esteemed Venezuelan trumpeter Pacho Flores.
