The Little Village Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 2025 Annual 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade - 54th Edition. - on September 14th, 2025 - 12 pm to 3 pm. - It was a joyous occasion that was successful thanks to you and your support.
The 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade proudly continued its tradition, on the iconic Little Village Arch on 26th Street and Albany Ave and made its way down 26th Street to Kostner Ave.
As one of the largest parades in the Midwest, this vibrant celebration attracted hundred of thousands of participants, residents, and visitors along the bustling two-and-a-half-mile business corridor. This year, it was a challenging year that served as a motivation to run an event with a complex, yet successful organization, and required an strong believe in the support of the mission from attendees, stakeholders, supporters, sponsors and allies.
This year, we celebrated "Pride and Power: Our Strength, Our Legacy," honoring the resilience, contributions, and cultural richness of our community. The parade featured unique floats, lively mariachi bands, and captivating folkloric dance performances, bringing to life the culture of Little Village.
This event unites residents, elected officials, community leaders, local businesses, entertainers, artisans, and artists in a powerful display of pride and unity.
