Small businesses are the heart of communities and by choosing to shop locally, residents and visitors can contribute to a thriving business landscape that directly benefits Chicago’s communities. The Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) year-round Shop Local Chicago campaign reinforces the importance of small businesses to our workforce and economy and drives consumers to make the conscious decision to shop local. For more information, visit Chi.gov/ShopLocal.

Building on the year-long Shop Local Chicago campaign, BACP launched the Shop Local Chicago: Neighborhood Pride campaign.

The campaign boosts community pride while helping small businesses. It encourages residents and visitors to explore new parts of the city, meet local business owners and neighbors, and share their experiences.
