The Little Village Chamber of Commerce is seeking small businesses interested in a year‑long storefront pop‑up experience along the vibrant 26th Street Corridor. This opportunity is designed to help businesses test, grow, and thrive in a high‑traffic commercial district.
WHAT SELECTED BUSINESSES RECEIVE
Rent Covered for the duration of the pop‑up
Year‑Long Storefront Activation on 26th Street
Ongoing Technical Assistance (business coaching, operations support, and more)
Marketing & Promotional Support to drive foot traffic and visibility
WHO SHOULD APPLY
We welcome both start‑up and expanding businesses:
Start‑Ups: Opportunity to showcase products or services in a retail storefront incubator
Expanding Businesses: Assistance identifying a permanent storefront and support with landlord negotiations
All participating businesses will receive ongoing technical assistance throughout the program to support long‑term success.
BUSINESS ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Businesses must:
Have fewer than 500 employees
Be based in Chicago
Be incorporated or active in a Qualified Census Tract (QCT) or provide proof of pandemic‑related losses or increased costs proportional to the program benefit
Hold all required licenses by the time storefront activations begin
A standard intake form will be used during the selection process and will request information regarding QCT location and/or documentation of pandemic impact (such as tax returns).
